Artist Statement

I’ve spent ten years living between two cultures, and my paintings are a reflection of that. Asian ink, Western abstraction, two styles I’m still learning to piece together. I make work about what it actually feels like to live between two worlds, the uncertainty, the not quite fitting in, and slowly finding something honest in that.
